Hot's Not Cool
I was approached by the New York Times Sunday Magazine to create an illustrated title for William Safire's On Language column. The column was part of the magazine's annual college issue, where all the imagery was generated by undergraduate or graduate students.I worked with my SVA classmate Steven Smith and plenty of fun ensued. We made an epic scene, making letters out of Play-Doh, Lego, and any toy we could lay our hands on. The end result is really striking on the page and stands out from anything else we had seen done for the column, so in our books it ticked all the right boxes.
