This project was deployed as part of my work experience inside M.Stortti Group, where I had the opportunity to act on the development of feasibility and preliminary studies for the implementation of large hotels chains such as Accor and GJP. I was responsible for the project management and for monitoring the process of approval by the municipal authorities, as well as for several steps regarding the development of the architectural design of the hotels. The GJP Santos Dumont project was a retrofit design for the establishment and operation of a hotel, a business center and a small scale mall of high standards located at the old buildings of the VARIG and VASP airlines, beside the Airport of Rio de Janeiro, Santos Dumont. The project will have a total built area of 31.000m², distributed as follows: a 4 star Hotel with 306 apartments with 15.000m², Business Center with 5.000m², Mall with 9.300m² and a Convention Center for 1.000 people.
Arch. Thiago Ferreira: Responsible for the first conceptual design, mass studies, development of the legal documents and monitoring of the approval process by the municipal authorities.

PBA - Paulo Baruki Arquitetura: Responsible for the new concept of the building design as well as for the construction documents.
