Hotel Revitalization - Lauderdale by the Sea
- Hotel Revitalization - Lauderdale by the Sea
Working with the town Lauderdale by the Sea (LBTS) on their Hotel Improvement Project. Proposed innovative ways to refurbish the sea-side hotels and utilize the Miami Modern (MiMO) style inherent in each building.
- Interning with Teri D'Amico, head of D'Amico Design Associates (DADA). DADA was hired by the town Lauderdale by the Sea to propose innovative ways to refurbish the "hooker hotels" along the beach. This process, labeled the Hotel Improvement Program, gave hotel owners cost effective solutions to revitalize their buildings and bring customers back to the modern Miami style.

Working with two specific sites, Sea Cliff Hotel and Windjammer Hotel, to present a model for hotels/motels in the town to follow. Presenting possible color schemes and highlighting accented architectural features on the buildings to reduce the heavy feel. Adding simple landscape and design to the exterior for cost effective options.

- Color Studies
Selecting the color palate to be adopted by Lauderdale by the Sea regulations. Presenting the various motel/hotel owners with various color options for their buildings. Showing how cost effective solutions (like minimal painting) can utilize the building's features to build a fresh and exciting feel. Possibilities include whites with bright colors, or toned down light/dark greys.
