Aweil Civil Hospital, Southern Sudan. - 28 August 2008: a MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) is signed between Médecins Sans Frontières and the Ministry of Health, to let MSF take over the Mother and Child health care at Aweil, Northern Bahr al Ghazal.This is the signal for MSF to launch a massive construction work project within Aweil Civil Hospital, by renovating the paediatric ward, the maternity ward, extending the delivery room, rehabilitating the roof of the pre-existing Therapeutic Feeding Centre, constructing a new TFC, a washing area and a playground, extending the TFC kitchen, as well as providing water and adequate sterilisation to the entire hospital.This page is a personal project and communications tool and can in no way be interpreted as official MSF statements.
