Homeblitz Gig Posters

This assignment tasked us as students to design 3 Gig Posters for Garage/Punk Band 'Homeblitz' based in New Jersey. We were asked to create 3 posters that reflected the band and its sounds but with our own personal twist. My poster designs reflected the idea of 'The Epic' with its scenarios depicted. One of the band's songs is named 'Perpetual Night' and this was the central idea in the posters, what was something that was massive in scale and that could cause a 'Perpetual Night' so to speak.

These posters needed to work as individuals and also together, so it was advised that a central idea and/or visual link be added to each poster to tie them together. My posters work individually and as a triptych. I also wanted to test myself with these posters in the sense of texture and output. I wanted these posters to be screen-printed (Didn't have time to actually screen-print it) so I needed to use a limited colour palette to theoretically reduce costs. So these posters have only 3 colours not including the White of the paper which was a real challenge for me as I am not used to designing with only this limited palette.
