    Bachelor’s dissertation, series of 10 posters, 707x1000 mm, 2011
  • Series of posters dealing with Holocaust and it's legacy in today's world. I've tried to focus rather on the subject of racism, fascism, hatred in society and the degradation of man under the opression of state or society than on holocaust itself. What I wanted to achieve was to find the roots of evil which has led in killing of millions of innocent people and degradation of culture and absurd hate and that the denial of these events should lead to another holocaust because a nation which forgets its history is destined to repeat it. All posters are in english, except for one, which is in czech. The translation says: "Holocaust didn't happen, but will happen" - Erik Sedláček, the candidate into parliament" which is an direct accusation that points to the fact that the neonazi scene wants to break through as a regular political force, but in it's core they are the same ignorant hate-mongers with swastikas tattoed on their arms. The form of the posters is simplified, black and white and is meant to be spread in streets in varied dimensions and still the message would be preserved and legible. However, I still didn't get the chance to spread the posters in the streets, but I want to make it happen as early as possible.

I also want to continue working on these series, probably abandoning the original theme for the sake of broadening the message of humanism and advocating free thinking and independence of a man
