Hodgkinsons the Jewellers, a family run business based in Clarkston, Glasgow, was celebrating its 40th year in 2012. They wanted a brand refresh and a marque to signify the landmark year.
The first items of the marketing material to incorporate the refresh was a series of A2 posters promoting various special offers. The posters had to balance the tone of an upmarket bespoke jewellers with the discout nature of the text. Below are my solutions, creating a distinct icon and colour scheme for each offer.
