    The Body Shop: Product Concept
    Student Work Winter 2010
  • The purpose of this course, was to create a product line for The Body Shop. Collateral materials with a focus on posters, postcards, point-of-sale materials, and labels were developed.

    In this project, three different products were designed. To help market the products and campaign a poster was created for in store purposes and a postcard to use as a mail out. To carry the products when bought, a 100% recycled canvas bag was designed with the product illustration to reach other potential customers.

    Higos
    is spanish for Figs. Figs are among the oldest-known foods in the world. The soft, pear-shaped “fruit” is, in fact, a flower swollen and turned in on itself, while the many tiny “seeds” are the actual fruit of the tree. Figs are full of natural sugar that help radiate and nurture the skin.
