In 1953 the founder of the global company stated "We shall be good stewards of the environment". From the year the speech was made to the present day that has always been the policy and objective for the company, however in the years to date many less qualified companies have jumped on the green 'bandwagon' leaving Herman Miller doing all the work but not shouting about it.
To combat this Lionhouse coined the title "Policy 53" and launched a communications package informing staff, trade and customers of the high environmental standards that Herman Miller have always adhered to. The successful, long-term drive includes an email campaign, banner ads, press ads, literature and posters.
