Heritage Award for the department of Arts & Culture

This brief was a real world project in which we were asked to design an award for the Department of Arts & Culture. I was given Heritage as the sector to design for.

The inspiration for the design comes from the historic significance of Nelson Mandela being released from his Robben Island prison and how from that point in history the many cultures of South Africa were freed and allowed to grow.

Ebrahim Rhoda was the recipient of the award in 2009.
