To commemorate the 4oth year of Starbucks, I decided to create a magazine ad that seemed to fit in with the current promotions that Starbucks has been running. My first idea was to write the drink order on the right and then have to the direct right of each one an activity or commonality that one finds when having a Starbucks experience. I then geared towards my current design which simply featured the iconic 6 boxes with green "writing" inside to resemble a drink order. At the very bottom, where the actual drink would be listed, in this instance, a marble mocha macchiato, or MMM, the beginning of a person's name is created, implying that this is the drink that Matthew would get. The headline I pulled from Starbucks' current campaign, and the body copy is original writing. The photography was always original a la myself.
