HELSINKI DESIGN WEEK

The visual identity of Helsinki Design Week changes every year. In 2012 the theme was co-creation. There is an old game invented by the Surrealists called the 'cadavre exquis'. A folded piece of paper is passed around a table, each person draws their own part without seeing what else has been drawn. The end result is sometimes more interesting than the sum of its parts. The identity is based on this idea of co-creation.
