Laing O’Rourke is the largest privately owned construction solutions provider in the UK. They wanted to redesign their health and safety branding.
The core message they wished to include in the campaign was the phrase, ‘Let’s all get home safely. Every day’.
I designed and pitched a campaign that consisted of two phases. The first was an awareness campaign. For this phase I designed a logo that integrated their message (01) and also proposed a series of murals that would go up around various Laing O’ Rourke offices and sites throughout the country (02). To accompany the murals I designed and copywrote a series of three posters that would be placed in all construction site offices highlighting the use of specific safety equipment (03).
The second phase of the campaign involved producing materials giving pratical advice to all employees, from brochures offering safety advice when using certain types of building equipment (04) to basic first aid (05).
