Hawley School in Newtown, CT welcomes Author David Adler
Author David Adler visited Hawley school in Newtown, CT in May 2012. Before his visit, I did this painting for him to sign. It is now hanging in Hawley school's library. Mr. Adler enjoyed the painting I did of him and especially liked how young I painted him. I worked from a photo of him off a web page.
It was great to hear him speak about his writing and share his stories. It was a fun day for the students and the school and it was a pleasure for me to meet him.
