Hapi Coffee
hypothetical coffee system
Product description-  In a world where coffee has become the gasoline that fuels our days packed with business meetings and deadlines, coffee shops have become a culture filled with to go cups and quick single serving plastic packaging.  Quite the contrary to American coffee cultures, foreign countries have quite a different culture.  Hapi coffee,  would be a shop primarily based out of Chicago, but with the goal of offering people a place to relax and really enjoy a break from their business day rather than take it with them.  Featuring a long list of foreign coffees, teas, and hand pressed juices, Hapi would be a quiet, exotic place to enjoy work afterhours.

Concept-  Hapi, was in Egyptian religion the god of the Nile and was often depicted serving fruits and grains on a tray.  I took this concept of the gods serving humans and created a coffee system out of it.  Being primarily an Egyptian brand, I also played off of the sun and the moon, being that they were the two most important deities in Egyptian culture and used the tagline, "get Hapi, day or night."  The scarab beatle focuses on Egyptian belief, that  beatles were spontaneously born and therefore were highly respected and godlike.  Playing with the idea that nature is magic and is perfect on it's own, all of Hapi's products are organic with natural flavors.
