Introduction (Page 1)
Photography has a funny way of writing stories — you don’t even realize it’s happening. You don’t think about it when you take a photograph. But later on, that becomes a memory: a moment in time which you can never revisit. Time continues on, you can never go back. A photograph captures your life, 1/60th of a second at a time. These small clips, little tastes of the past, tell stories, stories of your past. I’ve thought of photography in this light for a long time. I’ve been taking photos for nearly ten years and to this date — I’ve accumulated over thirty-thousand photos, thirty thousand snapshots of my past. The following sixty-two pages contain the fifty photographs which I consider to be my best work over the years. To me, each of these photos has a story — to you, they’re just cool to look at.
