Hand Sketches and Renderings
- FreeHandHand Sketches and Hand Renderings
- In this section, you can view a few examples of some hand sketches and hand renderings from previous project concepts. Hand sketching and rendering are lost arts among many designers today as everything relies on computers. There is infinite value in the ability to be able to show a potential client your vision in seconds without the need involve a cold and impersonal computer.
These two sketches were done on a scrap piece of paper while the client sat in front of me with a very regular #2 pencil.
The bar in this sketch came from a project in my early design days at Kendall. This was another quick sketch which was given a little more character with Prismacolor pencils.
This is a piece Precision DesignWorks supplied for our marketing team to advertise a new development. I designed the architecture of the house as well as all AutoCAD work. Renderings are done by hand with Prismacolor pencils and markers on Vellum. Images were then laid out in Photoshop by a colleague.
Another example from Precision DesignWorks. Designs and AutoCAD were drawn by me. Hand Rendered with Prismacolor pencils and markers on vellum.
