At the very first time itself when I flew into the Chicago city, I fell in love with her architectural beauty which became obsessive with each day. Her beauty was so overwhelming to me that I started to sketch her architectural landmarks, first in freehand black and white ink-line drawings and then meticulously coloring them digitally to capture her sheer beauty in the best possible way I knew, SKETCHING. After five years continuously working with the renderings, a selected collection of them are published as an elegant Chicago coffee-table book titled, "Curves & Crevices, Romancing Chicago". Such a book of artistic sketches on Chicago's architecture is a very first of its kind in the history of this greatest city. Some of the illustrations are also developed as posters and postcards for those who lives in, loves and visits Chicago. The collections are displayed at the publishers site www.chicagoskethcs.com
Attention to the details was the prime motto here to capture the true essence of Chicago's marvelous architecture.
