The objective of this project was to pick a public establishment that is in need of a new logo. We then rebranded the establishment and created a new identity system for them.
I chose Hampton Mansion as my location and designed their logo based on the ideas of history, refined architecture and sophistication, which characterized the establishment. Choosing a neutral color palette to reflect its park location, the new logo identifies Hampton Mansion as a national historic site.
The logo was designed straight from a photograph of the cupola from the mansion. The seal shape refers to it's historic roots, while the neutral palette places it in it's national park setting.
