Huella Rural is the footprint we leave behind our path, something that reminds us how our ancestors lived in harmony with nature. It’s a constant looking back with the purpose of reincorporating habits lost in time.
Our proposal consists in restoring emotional ties among neighbours and fomenting the habit of a healthy alimentation inside residential buildings, by creating vertical cooperatives.
- Could we  bring cooperatives into buildings?
- Could we create an exchange system among neighbours?
- Could we  rebuild relationships between neighbors within the exchange of vegetables?
Huella Rural is a small product with a strong social impact.

Small efforts do big changes and the journey starts here.
The change begins with a person, a promoter, who obtains the kit Huella Rural, made up of an octogonal fabric pot with 8 small pots in its interior working as seedbeds. The kit also contains identification clips to put within each neighbours mailboxes, showing which vegetable is being planted in each apartament.
How it works
Vegetables

Once the promoter has the kit, he/ she gives a pot to each neighbour so they can take care of the plant. The cycle finishes when the plants are grown and neighbors can start to exchange vegetables between them, having natural and different kinds grown in the same building.

The System improves the communication and relationship between neighbours, fills the loneliness of empty building spaces. creates cooperatives and participation, promotes ecological consciousness and educates children through experience.
