A guidance leaflet produced for HSE.

Brief: To create a leaflet illustrating the effects of substances hazardous to health with cover imagery intended to reflect the effects of chemicals on the body.
Main image designed to convey that hazardous chemical can be absorbed through the skin and through breathing in fumes or dust. Lungs, pulmonary system and skin are most likely to be damaged by hazardous substances.

Three supplementary images convey the ideas of dust, fume, and liquid.

Inside images represent industries where workers are affected, even though individuals in those industries do not consider their jobs to be hazardous, such as farmers, hairdressers and cleaners, as well as the more obvious industries such as construction, potteries or foundries.
