Kitchen extension
Tempietto develped the design of this extension around a number of constraints. The site is in Green Belt where extensions are limited in size. As the house had previously been extended we worked within Permitted Development tolerances of size and height. Also, the extension wraps around the access to a borehole which provides the water supply to the house. Materials were chosen to complement the exitsing bulding with local red brick and traditional flinwork and plain clay tiles for the roof but the form and design of the windows and the finishing to the interior provide a contemporary twist to the design.
