A series of stand-up dolls - Greetings from Around the World is a series of cut-out dolls with simple slotted stands on the bottom. Each stand-up features a greeting written in the local language and a character dressed in authentic folk costume. The dolls are printed with a brayer texture on off-white cardstock for a natural, vintage feel. I selected reference for the costumes from tourist and documentary images taken between 1900-1910.
