Graphix Intervention

We, as a society, tend to abuse our interactions, action and reaction with people and objects, we no longer see the beauty in interactions or reactions. Instead, we abuse it. Throughout our daily lives, the materialistic and scarce resources dictate our routines, but we take these things for granted and do not think twice about our actions. So in this Graphix Intervention motion sequence we chose to express this notion, using a metaphor and the simplicity of words. The metaphor of breaking glass represents our destructive nature to the familiar surroundings, due to its repetitive nature in our lives. The metaphor is inspired and derived from an old saying “He who lives in a glass house, should not throw stones”. The glass represents our surroundings, while the silhouette of a person is an iconic representation of all of us, as a society, and it is meant to be generic so people would see themselves in it and have a direct relationship.
