This image was required for a newspaper article. The character was a boxer and a patient at Holby City hospital. The image needed to be constructed from scratch as the actor wasn't available for a photo shoot. The final image is made up of several composite stages including a background image from BBC resources, a body double photo shoot with a hired model, the face of the actor was extracted from an image taken from the same BBC resources and the numerous blood effects and cuts were extracted and composited from references loaned by the make-up department. Swelling of the eyes were achieved through the photoshop liquify tool. I then manipulated various shadows, skin tones and the towel on his shoulder to blend the layers together. I've pixelated the face for privacy.

The images below were created for a character on Holby City to demonstrate his passion for hunting. Again circumstances didn't allow for a photo shoot so these images were bought from an agency that arranges legal hunts around the world. (Their faces have been blurred for privacy).
