Grandma's Nuts is a "premium mix of nuts, fruits & seeds." It was originated by Marcia Schechter of St. Louis, MO, as a healthy way for her vegan son to get protein and other nutrients she knew he would need. It has been refined over 30 years, and recently has become available at grocers around the St. Louis area, as well as at their website.
The logo for Grandma's Nuts is inspired by the concept of a cornucopia. The overflowing scoop is a symbol of the generosity of Grandma, and the rustic approach reflects the home environment where Grandma's Nuts was born.
Grandma's Nuts is available in 2 varieties: original & with chunks of dark chocolate. It is also available in 8 oz. packages and in packs of 7 2 oz. "Snack Paks."
