A plastic mesh is extruded, oriented, expanded or tubular. Plastic
mesh can be made from polypropylene, polyethylene, nylon, PVC or PTFE. A metal mesh can be woven, welded, expanded,

Meshes are often used to screen out unwanted things, such as insects.
