This is the third and the last part of our research (New Design Environment for Product Development). By testing the basic experimental prototype of 3D user interface (Part 1), we found that there is a lot of space for improvement in terms of the 3D user interface as well as great potential to develop effective application. We came up a concept design of 3D user interface in the future and some example application based on it.
This concept integrates a numbers of emerging technologies such as projector glasses and mini 3D space sensors. In addition, we assume that all the devices such as sensors would become smaller, faster, more precise and efficient. So that the concept 3D user interface could be a promising system allows users interact with virtual world and real world seamlessly.
