This soon to be graduate approached me in need of an updated resume and identity that would suit him more appropriately. His old resume utilized graphic elements and colors that were not suitable for the professional world. In approaching his identity, I wanted to create a mark that would be effective in demonstrating his dual studies.
Because this graduate is not a designer, I tackled the resume as minimally as possible, while still giving it personality. I wanted the information on his resume to be the most important, so that the information on the page would take presedence. I used two different shapes in combination to create a cell which could contain his initials. This mark is simple enough to be visible but not dominating.
His resume was printed on Neenah 60lb Solar White wine label paper. The label paper provided a classy texture that gives the resume depth.
Edited out address and phone number since this is getting more attention than the client expected. Read Less
