Grace Notes
This is a shot of a package for grace notes including a letterhead, business card, envelope, website catalog, card holder, 3 cards, a magnet and a bookmark highlighting my photography. This company was created for a type and image class at James Madison University.
Each piece of the stationary set has an alternative use. The end of the envelope tears off and can be used as a magnet, the top of the letterhead tears off and can be used as a bookmark and the business card functions as a promotional piece. There are six cards in the business card holder that each have one aspect of the company's photography themes. Each of the pieces drives the viewer to the website to view the rest of the photography and custom card options.
The Christmas card has an opening where the customer could insert their family holiday picture to send out to loved ones. The sunflower card has a di-cut on the outside with one seed. On the inside of the actual card there are sunflower seeds so the receiver of the card could grow sunflowers.
The website catalog was designed as a promotional piece where the consumer could choose a typeface, quote and photo and mail in the back side of the catalog for a free custom card.
I also created the logo using my handwriting for grace and a sans-serif for the notes type.
