Gore — Livingston Fabrics Plant Brand Environment

In 2012 the Gore fabric manufacturing plant in Livingston underwent a complete refurbishment byvMichael Laird architects. Working with Michael Lairds we communicated the Gore brand values throughout the 3D environment. Dynamic photography and inspirational statements create a visual identity and inspiring work space for the Gore associates and a visitor experience embracing brand heritage, product information and benefits. The Associates Hub features a 10m collage constructed from 20,000 images of Livingston’s associates.

Using the scientific structure of the membrane which is integral to Gore products we created a simple but highly effective graphic identity and applied it throughout the space, unifying the entire building from reception to factory floor. The identity was used to striking effect in the board room, plotting Gore’s global locations with this very structure.
