Together with Google we explore the lives of passionate people and how the Internet changes the way they pursue their passions.
The first film portrays Katya Todorovskaya, a great book lover, and her grandmother, the famous Russian writer Viktoria Tokareva. Katya sends us to the past, telling a very touching story of how hard it was for her grandmother to find, buy and fulfil her passion for reading back in the 60′s in the USSR. This is in contrast to how easy it is for Katya today.
The heroes of the second film are Murad Osmann and his girlfriend Natasha – the author of the #followmeto photo project and his muse.
In a romantic way he tells how an appreciation for beauty turned photography into a passion for him and how the Internet and modern technology lead him to success and recognition.
Both films are shot by the award-winning director Drake Doremus whose passion for the filming and telling of true stories turned the scripts into something magical.
