Whenever I do drawings I like making them as realistic as I can. I like capturing each and every single detail I can from my reference. However a lot of people seem not to believe that its an actual drawing, instead they either think its a photograph or its a photograph that was edited b y a computer software to make it sort of look like it could be a drawing. Other artists often ask me "Why don't you just take a picture? It would have been a lot easier and would have saved you a lot of time".
In my own opinion: I believe that making an artwork is like duplicating whats real and translating it to a piece of paper, and the more of it you are able to recreate the better your artwork is gonna be. I do try out other techniques and love doing many forms of artworks but my most preffered one is realism.
