  • Whenever I do drawings I like making them as realistic as I can. I like capturing each and every single detail I can from my reference. However a lot of people seem not to believe that its an actual drawing, instead they either think its a photograph or its a photograph that was edited b y a computer software to make it sort of look like it could be a drawing. Other artists often ask me "Why don't you just take a picture? It would have been a lot easier and would have saved you a lot of time".

    In my own opinion: I believe that making an artwork is like duplicating whats real and translating it to a piece of paper, and the more of it you are able to recreate the better your artwork is gonna be. I do try out other techniques and love doing many forms of artworks but my most preffered one is realism.

    This was a sketch I did for a friend of mine using only an HB pencil to go as light and as dark as I can. it was done on an A4 size paper.

    My last year of tertiary. it was a project to draw any place around our campus that would be easily recognized by anyone who is familiar with the campus and this is right outside our Graphic Design department, between the library and our photography class.
