The following was my first Art Direction project, and was completed under the guidance of Alex Egner. My client was Goo Gone, and I was to create a series of print ads for one of its many products. After weeks of brainstorming and thumbnails, I had a concept and plan. My ads carry the message that the smallest, sticky messes can be pretty brutal and scary. Stepping in gum, dripping paint on your floor, and getting oil all over your tools can be quite the nuisance...that's where Goo Gone comes in. This product has something for each messy scenario, and more! In order to make this idea a reality, I spent countless hours researching and figuring out the best way to make my monsters and set up my scenes. I made all the monsters and a few of the props, and found the rest with the help of my mother and her carpentry skills. As for the photography, I had the help of the wonderful Adam Fish, a pro from the Dallas area who made my vision a reality through his amazing photography! With the help of these people, and my professor Alex, this ad campaign came to life. It was a blast in the end, and I'm happy with the way they came out for the most part.
