I was driving to Houston on IH 10 and saw the exit to Gonzales and thought - Why not? Turns out they were having a Festival and Carnival so I stayed a couple of days. I shot this series with my iPad 3 and used Snapseed. With the oil boom and carnival in town motel rooms were scarce so I grab what I could get and they turned out to be visually interesting places.
