When its new digital appliances store was launched, Godrej wanted to move on from its boxy yesteryear image of a company dealing in engineering and consumer products. And move far enough to catch the eye of the 23-44 year old youth. Colour was predominant as the new products launched were vibrant and youthful. That became an inspiration for further design, as we picked lively, friendly and high visibility colour schemes – also thanks to its location in a mall. The intention was to invite people into a modern experience.
The contemporary in-store communication helped create a new identity for Godrej Lifespace. Usage of abstract wall graphics added to the digital new age look. Interactive kiosks with flash cards delivered information in an interesting manner and to provide satisfying customer service. Signage systems and intuitive icons were designed for maximum flexibility, keeping in mind the future growth of the store.
