This campaign sets a tone for what an open source interpretive campaign would be if people are given the opportunity to produce a high-profile film, collaboratively. It partners with Sundance and through putting up a microsite complete with a script entrenched characters, it challenges people to interpret and produce each scene piecemeal and upload onto the site. Each team's uploads are voted on via the "The Movie" page (garnering momentum through people promoting their own version of each scene via fb + twitter) and the scene with the most "likes" is uploaded into the queue, ultimately compiling a complete movie shot by completely different teams.
The idea is that with the right lightweight camera, motivation and platform one gains confidence and ownership of their projects and in their ability to produce. The campaign celebrates individual perspective and a collaborative sharing process.
