  • Entertainment One is a leading international entertainment company specialising in production and distribution of film and television content across all media. My involvement with the film began in October 2010 when I was tasked with designing and producing the domestic marketing campaign for the latest Disney blockbuster 'Gnomeo & Juliet'.

    With the campaign requiring strong family appeal, the creative executions were designed to introduce the audience to each of the lead characters. The messaging and imagery both focused on capturing the personalities of each character and reflecting the broad comedy appeal of the film.

    Following the approved art direction each character was specifically posed to communicate the messaging, environments were designed/painted in the established CG style to ensure continuity throughout the campaign and a bold complimentary typeface was chosen to provide an eye-catching platform to deliver the tag lines.

    The project involved initial sketch concepts followed by final artwork across all forms of media: 96, 48, 24, 12, 6 sheet ads, T-sides (bus), in-cinema displays, banners, 3D glasses recycling bins, popcorn packaging and installs for Odeon, Vue and Empire cinemas.

    The campaign has recently launched in both UK and Ireland and looks to guarantee great exposure for the film as well as featuring on BBC Breakfast and The Graham Norton Show.
