GLOBE CAFÉ - GREEN FEELING
Our point of view is to create a new Green Life Style.
The project and restoration of the Globe Cafè is a
good and exclusive opportunity to explain that eco concept should be presented at 360° in our life.
The “new” Globe Cafè should become a “manifesto of a
new system”, where the architecture, the design, the materials and the food could
be integrated to generate a final sustainable product ( Globe Cafè). It’s
impossible to create a sustainable agricultural
system and slow food concept without educating people to
see everything in their natural way.
All that is
present in our
project is a part of completely eco-sustainability
chain of production, only by this way we can get a real ecological system that
will inspire people for their new life style.
The architecture and the design of the
furniture have to create a flexibility system,
easily adaptable to the needs of a cafè. Breakfast and lunch time are organized
with big table in recycled wood and a traditionally but surprising food .
During the evening the cafe could be
transformed in lounge bar with simple
touches. So the atmosphere changes with zero energy. The Globe Cafè becomes a
place where you follow a series of events and culinary and artistic co-creativity
are designed with ecological and recycled materials to be transformed in
A large raised functional
platform contains all furnishing and become the big base , the roots, of the
vertical green wall.
The main entrance and the windows marks the route and introduce to an innovative space and shows his
sensitivity to the issue of ecology and give the feeling of being a part of the
On the other
side is designed as a place where the farmers can show their products and the clients can choose and select their ingredients
or buy some fresh ones. At the same time taking many information about: how
they are grew up , in which areas , energetic and nutritional values and so on.
This kind of information is given by graphics
and video projected on the white wall above product exhibition. That wall is a
"tabula rasa"offered not
only to customers, but also artists who
feel the need to communicate with scientific or artistic way this new
philosophy of life. The intent is to sensitize children and adults, or those
who are going in the Globe Cafe through various forms of communication. The
goal is to create a simple emotion and experience to bring home and make a new
beginning in their lifestyle.
It takes a little effort to live in a
sustainable world, where the nature and technology should be a whole.
The cafe offers a menu, which is itself a symbol of this osmosis, with 0 miles
and seasonal products, where the simplicity of the food is enhanced by unique
recipes and variable depending on the season and availability. In short, a menu
that adapts to the rhythms of nature, its natural productivity.
