Girl Loves a Bargain is a coupon/deals blog based in Maryland. When this project was brought to my attention, she had tried to design it on her own, but it wasn't turning out the way she wanted it to. Her content was shining with personality, and she had followers, but they needed an easier way to navigate all the content her site had to offer. She also wanted to offer advertisers premium space, and to make sure the focus was local.
I worked with her to help her personality and content shine through her blog. This was built in Wordpress on a Thesis framework. The homepage is widgetized so that she can add and delete categorical content on her own. We also extended the site design to a Facebook Timeline Design.
