I took a quick break from my to-do list and made a poster.
I found this nice picture of a giraffe, converted it to black and white, put a multiplied layer of brownish orange on top with some opacity.
Then I put the type together in Illustrator. The fonts used are “Sullivan” for the word “reach” in two layers (first fill in black, then regular on top in white), and Eames Century Modern (light).
The reach text was set around a circle and set with a distance of 200 between letters.
(all this is probably a bit nerdy for those of you who don’t use Adobe CS – sorry)
But who doesn’t like a handsome giraffe?
