I had heard that you're more likely to get a job in advertising by having a beer at the pub with the boss than by submitting a resume. I thought, how can I have beer with the creative director if I've never met him before? 

So I made my own branded beer and sent the CD a 4-pack. Thanks to the beer, I scored a job.
