This sculpture was based on the idea of 'Vintage 1950's'. My sculpture was designed for the 2013 Nelson Arts Festival. The key elements of my work are, plywood, paint, indian ink and lacquer. The sculpture is 3D in the sense that the single piece of plywood has been deconstructed and reconstructed in a form of layers and shapes that create an illusion of movement and on-going.
