This design was created with the theme "The Peach State" in mind. Several factors had to be kept in mind when designing this piece: readability of numbers against background colors, spacing of design to allow room for other plate attributes, and the contents's relation to the theme.
This design was chosen out of over 500 entries to be included in the top eight finalists. These were then voted on by the public. The skyline features the four largest cities in Georgia: Atlanta, Augusta, Savannah and Columbus. The peach was created using freehand circles and a multitude of colors to create the impression of a peach from a distance.
