These were a series of ads placed on the back of DC comic books to promote the premiere of the cartoon Generator Rex. The goal was to show that this new super hero had the ability to make different machines out of his body to save the day. I created a stark contrast to the usually busy ads and comic pages with a single image of Rex with various machines on a white background. The ad would change out every week to highlight the different abilities. The final ad would told more of the story that plays out in the show, revealing his monkey sidekick and agent bodyguard/babysitter.
