Etymology.

 

Most of us, don't really know the significance or the history of words or symbols we use and see everyday. I stumbled upon how the ampersand got to be this logogram, and thought that it was very interesting.

 

Having said that, I made this typographical posters to show how general characters came to be what they are today.
