I always liked gas stations lost on country roads, artificial islands of light planted in the middle of nowhere.

So when a new gas station emerges in the heart of Paris, and yet seems out of nowhere at night, I take my time to study it and reveal its anatomy.

Here is the most conventional frame of this anatomy.
This is probably the way that 90% of people would have photographed this gas station (but you have to admit that not everybody would have took that photograph at 1:30 am).
Beautiful lines of flight, a nice ratio 2/3, 1/3, eyes are inevitably attracted to the spotlights at the center of the screen.
