So when a new gas station emerges in the heart of Paris, and yet seems out of nowhere at night, I take my time to study it and reveal its anatomy.

Here is the most conventional frame of this anatomy.
This is probably the way that 90% of people would have photographed this gas station (but you have to admit that not everybody would have took that photograph at 1:30 am).
Beautiful lines of flight, a nice ratio 2/3, 1/3, eyes are inevitably attracted to the spotlights at the center of the screen.

We no longer live on this planet, out of it we have constructed another in place of the first. The most astonishing thing is that hallucinatory world now seems real. The underlying ideology works perfectly well. In making these articicial landscapes "natural" like self-evident necessity, they have entered into our unconscious. (...)
