If you think churches are that boring, old place your parents dragged you to every Sunday, then you clearly haven't been to Garfield Memorial Church located in suburban Cleveland. This church is truly a modern and multicultural family of faith, and they needed marketing material to represent that unique fact.
To start, Kiwi Creative put a contemporary twist on the traditional Methodist "cross and flames" logo by adding grunge textures to the typography and incorporating the church's own tagline: widening the circle.
Next, we tackled their most urgent need: a new website. While the church had already purchased a template, we were still able to provide stylized imagery and rotating homepage graphics for the site. We also customized pages to take advantage of the built-in media gallery, calendar of events and itemized profile items.
With Christmas fast approaching, Kiwi Creative designed (and printed and mailed) two direct mail postcards: a holiday staff greeting to existing church members and an invitation to the surrounding community to join them for Christmas Eve services. We also designed a two-sided handout for new visitors and a Microsoft Word template for their weekly newsletter.
After the busy holiday season, we brought this progressive church into the 21st century by revamping their Facebook account and Twitter page where they actively engage with church members
What the client had to say: "Having served as a CEO in the corporate community and now as a Lead Pastor in the non-profit world, I realize how important information and communications are to your organization's mission. Kiwi Creative has that rare blend of real vision & talent combined with a personal touch. They did a complete overhaul of our logo and website and serve as a consultant for marketing needs. I can not say enough about the service and performance of Kiwi Creative!"
