When this almost 1MW solar installation was completed, it was the largest Community Solar Garden in the United States. It redefines the Residential and Small Commercial Solar Industry. Up to 400 individuals and businesses will own solar panels at this site, and the energy produced by their panels here, will offset their utility bill at their home or business.
This type of solar installation opens up the market to those who own a home that does not have a well-suited southern facing exposure, to renters (both residential and commercial), and to those who want the best financial returns possible. These central solar assets can be built more inexpensively, and will produce more power, because they are ideally positioned and managed.
