Horizon Riders

The game was inspired by F-Zero and other race / action / adventure blockbusters, featuring four characters to beat obstacles and maddening enemies. 

The creative approach behind the characters and the world was very conditioned by the austere needs of the Nintendo Wii console and the WiiWare system. The characters shouldn't be using much texture so I chose a minimalistic solution with a primary colour key for each character and it's hovercraft. They are vaguely inspired by other IPs such as Spiderman, Power Rangers and others.

The backgrounds were also limited by the Wii graphic capabilities, so it relies on a very clever and straight use of each skybox and few scenery objects.
